Rookery Press is primarily an archival project. Our members are of various political tendencies in their personal work and lives, but Rookery Press does not have a political line or political aims.

 

We are not beholden to anyone or any organization beyond ourselves.

Rookery Press is a collective of oppressed peoples.

Since starting Rookery Press we have suffered censorship and reprisals for some of the texts that we have tried to revive. For the safety of our members and the continuation of the project we insist on anonymity.

Yes! If you are an organization/book store looking to buy larger quantities of a particular text we encourage you to reach out to us for our latest wholesale catalog and additional information about pricing and order minimums.

Yes. Whenever we are able, we like to engage with our communities to share our work.

We have held book readings at bookstores, tabled at book fairs, and done podcast and radio interviews.
